We opened it Christmas Eve
to give her lots of reading time
She is in happy-ville,
getting to see the news
you granddaughters sent!
you will recognize what you sent her.
She oo-ed and ah-ed over the miracle
of Sterling's health

OK, how do I suck one picture out of a post?
of Kim, Joseph and their new home.
Several times she happily exclaimed, "I didn't know they were going to do this."
It was very satisfying to see her joy.
Thanks, family.
Yay! I am so proud you entered the world of blogging!!! And thanks for posting the pictures of grandma at Christmas it was great to see!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm so excited you have a blog now too! It will be fun to keep caught up on you :) Loved seeing these pictures of Grandma - thank you!
ReplyDeletewow, you really blog a lot once you get started. Thanks for sharing the pics of mother. I think I want one of those papers from Joseph & Kim
ReplyDeleteMom, Did I miss something? Were we supposed to send pics to Grandma...or was that something you did? Looks like Grandma LOVED it!
ReplyDeleteI put the suggestion out on facebook---a picture page for grandma----so she would have some things to open on Christmas morning. (but not more "things" to fill up her house) I took plastice sleeves over with me and got most of what she opened tucked into a 3-ring binder.
ReplyDeleteYes, she was delighted. She read and read, studying every picture. A happy camper.
